Morla has created over 50 different posters for Levi’s over the course of 20 years. From imagery of the West to stark black and white photography, she worked at making Levi’s relevant, no matter the fashion trend of the moment. For this poster, she focused on young teenage girls telling their own story. As with all the work she has created for Levi’s, she was responsible for casting, art directing, hand-lettering, printing, and producing this large-scale poster.
This piece is part of the permanent collection of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art | SFMoMA.
