Rob Forbes, founder of Public Bikes, called on Morla Design as a key partner in identifying ways to engage the design community with his beautifully designed bicycles. Morla recognized that the vast majority of Public Bikes are sold to women, and the poster imagines a bike basket filled with flowers.
The icon at the bottom of the poster depicts a bicycle with an asterisk “flower” in its basket silhouetted out of a bicycle gear, a nod to bike riding women graphic designers. The large scale posters are printed at 40”x60”.
Our Public Bikes Poster was selected to appear in Communication Arts, Design Annual 54. The poster was chosen as one of only 189 winning projects from 4,636 global entries.
